Note on e-invoicing (E-Rechnung)
Germany is phasing in structured B2B e-invoicing (XRechnung/ZUGFeRD formats) — since 2025 businesses must be able to receive them, with issuing obligations following. A visual PDF like this one remains valid for many B2B cases during the transition, for B2C, and for international invoices. For mandated structured e-invoices, use a certified provider.
Frequently asked questions
Can the invoice be entirely in German?
Yes — choose Deutsch as the language and leave the second language empty. Every label, including the RECHNUNG title, switches to German.
Where do I put my USt-IdNr. and bank details?
Add your VAT ID under your address in the "Von" block, and IBAN/BIC in the notes — both print on the PDF.
